芝加哥教堂外牆脫落　砸死34歲媽

芝加哥的第二長老會教堂周四（4日）發生鐘樓飾品脫落，一名34歲的媽媽剛好路經該處，結果被落下的石像鬼砸中頭部，不幸當場死亡。
 
《華盛頓郵報》報導，兩個孩子的媽賓恩（Sarah Bean）跟未婚夫周四共進午餐，吃完飯後走過第二長老會教堂的東南面，結果鐘樓上的一個石像鬼造型的排水口掉落，砸死了不久後就要跟未婚夫成婚的賓恩。
 
警方事後調查，這具石像鬼是被教堂更高外牆的金屬飾品掉落砸中，才會斷裂在掉落砸到死者。該教堂在1874年興建，2007年和2011年的建築檢測都不合格，但2012年和2013年的檢測則獲通過。殺人的石造排水口，重約13.6公斤。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
