千人圍茂名市政府　官方否認坦克進城

中國廣東省茂名市民眾連續多天上街，抗議政府計劃推PX(對二甲苯)化工廠，擔心家園被污染。昨日陸續有上千名民眾前往茂名市政府，並將市政府包圍。官方隨後突然派員出來，邀請10多位民眾代表進入市政府「對話」，但2個多小時的對話並未達成共識。

據香港《明報》、《BBC中文網》報導，對於外界有傳聞坦克車開進市區，茂名市公安局副局長周沛洲否認，並稱警方在執法過程中「沒有打死人」。此外，周沛洲也強調，「清理現場過程中，由於聚集人員複雜，有表達訴求的，有圍觀看熱鬧的，也有社會閒散人員，甚至還有違法犯罪前科人員，最高峰期達1000多人，執勤民警有可能誤傷了圍觀的群眾，在這裡我代表公安機關誠懇的致歉」。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
