原定今天先發的國民投手席默曼(Jordan Zimmermann)，因為發燒、嘔吐，臨時改由明天要登板的羅克(Jodi Roark)代班，結果是另名野手席默曼(Ryan Zimmerman)跳出來當英雄，單場敲出4安，平生涯紀錄，還有2打點，帶領國民8比2橫掃大都會，開季3連勝。
 
羅克原本是明天國民主場首戰的先發投手，他的爸媽還準備開12小時的車到華盛頓看兒子比賽，沒想到還未抵達，兒子已提前上場，不過羅克投得不錯，6局只被敲6安、失2分、5次三振，本季首勝提前到手。(鍾裕能／綜合報導)
