中颱麥德姆襲台　基市長人在鹽湖城

中颱麥德姆加入撲台，根據美國媒體CNN預測麥德姆恐變強颱，基隆市今天早上10時許成立災害應變中心，進行2級開設，基隆市長張通榮人卻在美國猶他州鹽湖城 （Salt Lake City），參訪姊妹市交流行程，根據市長秘書透露，張通榮本月15日前往鹽湖城，預計明天返台。
 
關於基隆市災難指揮，由副市長柯水源坐鎮指揮，最快今天傍晚左右，北北基統一宣布明天是否停班、停課。市民則說，「基市將面臨颱風災害，市長人卻不在家，有點說不過去。」（陳偉周／基隆報導）
