4局上，兩人出局後，猿隊郭永維敲出安打，隨後黃浩然、林智平、詹智堯及藍寅倫接連敲安，一舉攻下4分，形成6：0。

4局下，獅隊劉芙豪敲安，隨後靠潘武雄高飛球推進到二壘，接著張泰山安打，劉芙豪跑回1分。形成1：6。

5局上，猿隊陳冠任及林智勝接連敲安，獅隊先發投手王鏡銘因此退場，由張志強接替，隨後他連續解決3人，化解危機。
