谷歌收購Gecko　添研發實力

谷歌（Google）宣布收購Gecko Design Inc.，為X Lab計劃增加研發實力，不過，谷歌不願公布交易金額。
Gecko主要以設計為主要業務，主要客戶包括惠普（hp）、Herman Miller Inc.和穿戴裝置供應商Fitbit Inc.。

Gecko總裁賈尼（Jacques Gagne）說：「能被谷歌收購，對Gecko員工來說是非常可貴的機會，我們非常興奮與榮幸加入X Lab計劃，以參與研發各項尖端產品。」

谷歌在網路搜尋外業務積極開拓，希望擴大更多營收來源，光纖網路是目前積極發展的領域之一，無人駕駛汽車計劃也是努力方向。（王秋燕／綜合外電報導）
