大谷翔平噴5顆161公里火球　洋基現場見證

日本火腿20歲「投、打二刀流」好手大谷翔平，昨天對東北樂天完投9局飆出個人生涯最多的16次三振，只失1分，拿下第8勝，最後還以159公里速球收尾，而這一戰，洋基也特別派出前日本火腿監督希爾曼(Trey Hillman)到現場觀看，並測得有5球達到100哩(160.9公里)、7球99哩(159.3公里)。

希爾曼在2003~07年擔任日本火腿監督，2008~10年返美擔任皇家總教練，目前是洋基營運特別助理，因為這層關係，洋基特別請他到日本關注大谷。

由於在希爾曼執掌日本火腿兵符的時代，日職正好是達比修有與田中將大互別苗頭的時候，他也因此做了比較：「如果跟達比修比起來，大谷第2年的球路威力比較好，而田中則是在加強控球方面，花了較多時間。」(謝岱穎／綜合報導)
