韓國女星劉彩英日前傳出因癌細胞已擴散至其他器官，病情危及有生命危險的消息，根據韓國媒體報導，今上午8點在醫院病逝，享年41歲，過世時丈夫在身邊陪伴，未留下遺言。

劉彩英去年10月健康檢查時，發現胃癌末期，雖然已立即接受手術治療，但情況仍未好轉，癌細胞已擴散至其他器官，病情危及。她雖然病情不樂觀，但在五個月前還主持MBC廣播節目，在官方部落格公開了和金京植開朗的照片，敬業精神，令人不捨。

劉彩英1994年以歌手身分出道，直到2002年演出《色即是空2》才廣為人知，她過世消息一傳出，韓國綜藝節目《Running Man》主持HAHA與宋智孝等圈中藝人也紛紛在網上留言致哀及到靈堂弔唁。
