庇里牛斯山持續對眾車手發出挑戰，最艱困的終點處，廝殺得最激烈，最後由波蘭車手Rafal Majka脫穎而出，搶下個人第二座單站冠軍。

2014年環法自行車邁入第17站賽程，這是庇里牛斯山的第二個賽段，全長124.5公里，有3個爬坡段，終點處為HC級爬坡段。

效力Tinkoff-Saxo 銀行車隊的Majka，為第14站的單站冠軍，此戰的攻擊一直不順，搶登山點也失手，直到HC級爬坡段才逆轉局勢，也摘下登山王積分。

反撲成功的他，高興地對鏡頭眨眼，然後搥胸怒吼，「我今天答應過Bjarne（車隊經理）的，我要贏得這一站！」

Majka於終點前7.5公里處發動攻勢，追過Joaquim Rodriguez，再咬住領先的Giovanni Visconti，2.4公里處順利單飛衝線。

Majka以3小時35分23秒的成績進站，並為圓點衫持有者，優勢難以撼動，Vincenzo Nibali第三名衝線，目前黃衫優勢也難有人能挑戰。
