【上下游新聞】年輕學子勇承擔 生態水田保護水鳥

宜蘭每天平均有兩棟農舍冒出來，不僅破壞農田，連生態都面臨危機，喜歡賞鳥的宜蘭子弟林哲安，眼見鄰近市區的鳥類棲地，遭到農舍一點一滴侵蝕，他下定決心要好好保護新南這塊寶地，今年說服當地老農，在2甲多水田，實驗農藥化肥減半、自產自銷的「新南田董米」，上月底開始預購，目標是保留當地連綿20甲的水田，打造鳥類天堂。

頭一次就要賣一萬斤米，壓力非常沈重，初期成本都自掏腰包，「但我很期待，希望能拿著這些成果，說服附近農民。」雖然目前只有2甲多，但他依然樂觀，希望能整合旁邊20多甲農地，或者集資出錢買地，如果有機會，甚至打算向農民租地，自己跳下去當農夫，和家鄉水鳥一起生根（上下游記者林慧貞/報導）
