禪學越來越受歡迎，有來自全球逾40個國家的青壯年參加佛光山舉辦的「2014國際青年生命禪學營」，他們使用18種語言、1500人參加。

「2014國際青年生命禪學營」7月17日至23日在佛光山舉行，有來自40個國家地區、400所大學約1500人齊聚，明天起的課程將使用中、英文上課，課程有禪修、佛學課程，最後4天還要帶領學員環島，認識台灣。

全球掀起青年修行禪學風，佛光山國際青年生命禪學營，今年已進入第5年，以推動人間佛教為主軸。

佛光山希望透過修禪、學佛，把安定人心的力量傳達給學員，讓學員帶回他們的國家，散播萌芽、茁壯並開枝散葉。

佛學禪修後也安排認識台灣的旅遊活動，景點包括阿里山、日月潭、台南赤崁樓、鹿耳門聖母廟等，也走訪台中逢甲夜市、基隆廟口夜市等。(中央社)
