愛地球：耳廓狐長耳助散熱

耳廓狐的長耳朵不僅讓其有敏銳的聽覺，還有散熱功能。

達人語：
台北市立動物園研究員趙明杰說，耳廓狐雖名為狐，卻是最小型的犬科動物，生長在非洲與阿拉伯半島的沙漠區，皮毛呈黃白色（圖），可反射太陽輻射，長耳朵的皮膚表層有助散熱，腳底長有毛髮，可在高溫的沙地上行走，腎臟則可對體內的水分（含尿夜）吸收再利用，讓耳廓狐能適應高溫缺水的沙漠環境。
耳廓狐是夜行性雜食動物，以果實、爬蟲等為主食，在沙漠白天躲洞穴夜間覓食。牠們有敏銳聽覺，鬍鬚也可感應獵物震動助獵食。
