世界最大溫度計　7月重新啟用

已經停止使用2年的世界最大的溫度計預定將在當地時間7月10日重新亮燈，紀念世界最高溫出現101周年。 　　

報導稱，這個溫度計在位於洛杉磯到拉斯維加斯的15號公路上，高達13層樓的溫度計1992年10月開始啟用，幾經轉手，2012年因為電費高漲而決定停用。 　　

溫度計去年再度轉賣，原主人赫朗家族決定買回，雖然赫朗已經在2007年過世，但赫朗的女兒哈蓋絲投下資金重新修復溫度計，要讓溫度計重新亮燈，為沙漠中的遊客引路。 　　

貝克是15號公路上重要的城鎮，平常都有不少遊客在旅程中駐足停留，隨著溫度計重新亮燈，可望吸引更多旅客停留。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
