行竊失風躲排水溝　癌末竊賊仍遭逮

台中市罹患口腔癌末期的胡姓男子﹝59歲，有多項竊盜前科﹞，利用清明連續假期，夥同曾姓友人﹝57歲，有多項竊盜前科﹞，於5日凌晨一時許侵入北屯區旱溪西路2段一處倉庫，竊取電鑽、電鋸、洗孔機等價值15萬的器具，二嫌正準備離去時，遭路過林姓男子發現大聲喝止，其中曾嫌竟持鐵片攻擊林男後，再分頭逃竄，手指遭割傷的林男則忍痛報警。
 
第五分局北屯派出所線上警網趕赴現場，並呼叫支援警力在倉庫周遭展開地毯式搜索，在路旁一輛小貨車底下逮捕曾嫌，接著在天祥街逮捕褲管溼漉漉的胡嫌，他向警方坦承，因罹患口腔癌末期剛動完手術，為了籌措後續化療的醫藥費，才會邀約住在高雄的曾嫌北上共同犯案，因失風情急躲在排水溝內，沒想到因為褲管濕了而露餡，由於嫌犯行竊又傷人，警方訊後將全案依準強盜罪移送。（王煌忠／台中報導）
