研究：妻子學歷高　婚姻更長久

研究發現，男人是一家之主、經濟支柱的觀念，已經過時。現今男士，不但接受妻子學歷比自己高，賺得比自己多，而女學歷高的夫婦，離婚率也較低。

英國《每日郵報》報導，《美國社會學評論》刊登威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校的研究，發現在2000至2004年間結婚的夫婦，雙方若學歷同等，離婚率比丈夫學歷較高的夫婦低3分之1。但在1950年代結婚的夫婦，雙方若學歷同等，離婚率與丈夫學歷較高的夫婦相同。

負責研究的威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校社會學副教授施瓦茨（Christine Schwartz）指出，男人為家庭經濟支柱的想法過時，妻比夫高學歷，也不再如以往容易導致離婚。相反地，研究發現，現今社會接受平等婚姻，而社會正在適應女性比男性讀更多書的現實。妻子賺錢比丈夫多，也已成趨勢。（國際中心╱綜合外電報導）
