衝著中國而來？美菲千人聯合軍演

美國總統歐巴馬（Barack Obama）日前誓言對盟友菲律賓提供「裝甲般」支持，今天數千名美國與菲律賓軍人，更共同展開「肩並肩」年度大型軍事演習。美菲間緊密軍事合作是否針對中國而來，備受外界關注。
 
法新社報導，這次軍演有2500名美軍與3000名菲國軍人參與。菲律賓外長羅薩里歐（Albert del Rosario）表示，這場為期10天的軍演，有助於菲國因應「侵略性的鄰居試圖改變現狀」所帶來的挑戰。北京當局近來強硬主張南海島嶼主權，導致與鄰國關係緊張。（林奐成╱綜合外電報導）
