勇士今年春天一口氣跟5名主力球員簽下複數年合約，現在他們要再多綁住1名重要選手，跟Chris Johnson達成3年延長合約協議，外帶第4年的球隊選擇權。

去年取代退休名將Chipper Jones，Johnson成為勇士的主戰三壘手，2013年繳出打擊率0.321的優異成績，有12發全壘打68打點，今年開季跟勇士簽下1年475萬美元短約。

勇士今年春天瘋狂式的灑錢，跟Freddie Freeman、Jason Heyward、Craig Kimbrel、Andrelton Simmons、Julio Teheran等人簽下複數年合約，穩固了未來幾年的基石。

今天(2日)勇士球團再出手，跟Johnson達成3年延長合約協議，外帶第4年(2018年)的球隊選擇權，不過合約的詳細內容尚未公布。

今年開季Johnson表現平平，前26場比賽打擊率0.255，只有1發全壘打4分打點。
