英正妹東非遇襲毀容　勇敢面對盼盡快緝兇

去年8月，來自英國倫敦的凱蒂於東非桑吉巴當志工時，被撥灑腐蝕性液體，導致毀容。她昨天於英國一份報章撰文，憶述遇襲經過，以及如何勇敢面對痛苦和漫長的康復之路。

英國《每日郵報》報導，凱蒂稱事發當晚與義工朋友到餐廳用餐時，一輛車從她們旁邊駛過，車上的男乘客突然向她們潑灑腐蝕性液體，但在場的士兵和路人都袖手旁觀，還有人趁亂企圖搶走凱蒂的財物。

凱蒂只好自己到附近一間公廁沖洗，幸好得到一名英國攝影師和他的女友幫助。凱蒂當時痛不欲生，哀求英國攝影師射殺她算了。

身上3成皮膚灼傷的凱蒂送返英國後，接受了15次手術，要切除一隻耳朵，還要再接受另外15次手術。她意識到自己一定要堅強，但對於兇徒仍未落網感到氣餒。（國際中心╱綜合外電報導）
