據日本防衛省統合幕僚部網站消息，日本自衛隊『山霧號』驅逐艦在衝繩西南600公里位置發現了大陸海軍艦艇編隊正在向東航行，包括2艘054A型護衛艦以及1艘綜合補給艦。

根據人民網報導，此前，據大陸海軍網報導，南海艦隊艦艇編隊19日下午從湛江啟航，拉開了新一輪常態化遠航訓練的序幕。編隊由南海艦隊某驅逐艦支隊導彈護衛艦黃山艦、運城艦以及綜合補給艦微山湖艦組成，隨艦搭載2架艦載直升機。據編隊指揮員、南海艦隊某驅逐艦支隊支隊長李吉祥介紹，此次訓練，編隊將赴西太平洋等海域進行海上持續戒備、反恐反海盜、聯合搜救、政治工作以及後勤、裝備保障等科目演練；與此同時，做好探索基於資訊系統的海上組織指揮、預警探測以及海空情處置的方法原則，提高編隊遠海機動作戰和快速反應能力，推進軍事鬥爭準備拓展和深化。
