海地移民船翻覆　至少18死

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】一艘滿載海地移民的偷渡船昨天在英屬特克斯及凱科斯群島（Turks and Caicos Islands）外海翻覆沉沒，至少18人落海溺斃。

據路透報導，至少有超過50名偷渡客當時擠在這艘船上，當船正要入港之際，船身突然在離岸約100公尺處翻覆，造成至少18人溺死，另有32人獲救。

英國廣播公司（BBC）認為，這些移民很可能都是想要非法入境特克斯及凱科斯群島這個英國屬地。據當地媒體報導，這些移民很可能都是來自西半球最貧窮的國家海地。
