屏東縣政府舉辦高中職生模擬聯合國（MUNOP）營隊，全國162名高中職生參加，今天起3天，就水資源、食物短缺進行討論。

屏東縣首次主辦「模聯」活動，廣邀全國各高中162位菁英分別代表81個國家來參與，針對國際熱門議題水資源、食物短缺及再生能源議題進行辯論，研討可行的建議方案。

今天的開幕式中，屏東縣副縣長鍾佳濱表示，希望藉由辦理模擬聯合國會議各項議程，有效拓展高中職適性課程中「世界公民領域」的發展深度，期盼參與的菁英中將來能產生首位聯合國台灣代表為台灣發聲。

縣政府教育處表示，屏東菁英升學計畫是屏東縣政府精心策劃的完整提升學測競爭力的升學輔導服務方案，原訂參加人數100人，因迴響熱烈，擴大錄取人數共162人，學員來自全國7個縣市，共計37所學校高中學生熱烈響應，屏東縣學生錄取50多名。

這項活動主要由今年才考上台大醫學系的張佳煒與一群屏東高中模聯籌備社共16個志工協助執行，全程以英語交談。(中央社)
