除了狀元選誰、狀元籤要不要交易，克里夫蘭騎士還有個大問題，就是，總教練呢？

根據《Plain Dealer》報導，騎士已經向前鳳凰城太陽總教練Alvin Gentry提出合約條件，希望他能接下前任總教練Mike Brown的棒子。

Gentry曾於2008年至2013年執教太陽，當時他的頂頭上司就是騎士現任總管David Griffin。

Gentry生涯執教經驗12年，累積335勝、370敗，在鳳凰城效力5年，是他待最久的一支球隊。

本季Gentry擔任洛杉磯快艇助教，負責輔佐總教練Doc Rivers。
