【張麗娜／台北報導】 立法院交通委員會今審查《離島觀光賭場條例》草案，反賭聯盟上午在立法院外上演行動劇，高喊「賭博救台灣、全民開賭」，並進行賭博共和國建國升旗典禮，諷刺一旦條例通過，中華民國（R.O.C Republic of China）將變成「賭博共和國」（R.O.C Republic of Casino）。 

反賭聯盟質疑日前國民黨版的《離島觀光賭場條例》草案根本就是「賣台契約」，為了吸引廠商投資，將台灣好山好水賤價賣出。勞工陣線祕書長孫友聯說，馬英九總統在元旦文告宣示要拼經濟，難道馬總統拼經濟的方式就是賭博、蓋賭場？他們堅持反對賭博的方式拼經濟；種子文化教育協會祕書長張零袗也說，一旦開放賭博，馬祖將成為「痛心的失樂園」。

反賭聯盟執行長何宗勳表示，台灣的觀光一年已突破800萬人，根本不需要靠賭博，呼籲不要把離島當白老鼠；反賭聯盟也提出4項訴求：1.反對以賭博做為觀光政策；2.強力譴責促賭立委；3.要求提案立委陳根德及蔡正元版本草案撤回；4.要求民進黨、親民黨、台聯黨以具體行動表態反賭。
