【沈欣蓓／綜合報導】生活在黑暗中的蝙蝠，靠的是聽覺而不是視覺，因此當雄性蝙蝠想吸引異性時，不像其他動物可以靠鮮豔的羽毛來吸引目光，而是開始唱求愛歌曲！
 
德州A&M大學生物學教授Mike Smotherman花3年時間記錄研究蝙蝠的叫聲，發現雄性蝙蝠不僅會唱求愛歌曲，若雌性蝙蝠答應求愛，雄性蝙蝠甚至會改變曲調來維持雌性蝙蝠的興趣，該研究還發現，每隻雄性蝙蝠唱的歌曲調都不同，看來個個都是情歌高手，可惜僅限於雄性蝙蝠會唱歌，無法來個男女對唱。
