專家憂伊波拉病毒已變種　傳播速度更快

伊波拉病毒疫情持續延燒，美國權威科學家擔心，病毒可能變得更具傳染性。

美國全國過敏及傳染病研究所專家賈爾林(Peter Jahrling)表示，醫療團隊在疫區賴比瑞亞首都蒙羅維亞(Monrovia)工作時，採用從未使用過的病毒測試方法，發現患者體內的病毒增長速度非常快，而且病毒的數量也不斷增加，超過了以往所見的案例，擔心伊波拉病毒已經變種，將增加醫護人員控制疫情的難度，呼籲國際社會應加緊防疫。

西非爆發伊波拉疫情至今，已經驗出逾8千起確診或疑似感染病例，當中近一半患者死亡。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
