不論謝淑薇與中國大陸彭帥的跨國組合，還是詹詠然與詹皓晴姐妹檔，這次羅傑斯盃女雙，沒有台將能進入女雙決賽，皆在四強落馬。

羅傑斯為ATP與WTA共站，總獎金3146920美元，隸屬WTA超級巡迴賽，今年與蒙特婁舉行，單數年與男子組交換場地，改在多倫多舉行。

詹家姐妹面對的是大會第一種子Sara Errani與Roberta Vinci，第一盤纏鬥到第11局遭破發後就兵敗如山倒，第二盤還遭蛋洗，以5-7、0-6吞下敗仗。

謝淑薇與彭帥遭遇的是老對手Cara Black、Sania Mirza，薇帥配此戰之前，已經3次擊敗過這對辛巴威與印度的組合。

在首盤兩度錯過盤末點的情況下，薇帥配被對手拉入搶七，不敵氣勢正盛的Black與 Mirza丟掉第一盤。

第二盤薇帥配在4-2領先下，沒有動搖優勢，順利扳回一城，接著搶十大戰，謝淑薇、彭帥一度化解4個賽末點，並迎來自己的賽末點，結果卻連丟3分，最終以6（3）-7、6-3、11-13敗北。
