【更新】魏應交：台灣之星Q3必開台　但信號要涵蓋8成

4G新進業者台灣之星董事長魏應交下午在彰化表示，台灣之星第3季一定開台，但要在全台4G信號達70~80%人口覆蓋率才開台，且年底用戶數不是重點，而是要在原有威寶用戶基礎上，提升客戶品質及ARPU。
 
據了解，台灣之星全台4G基地台布建已達2700~2800座，外界估計3000座以上就可達到70~80%覆蓋率。
 
至於是否循電信三雄找明星代言人的方式，魏應交賣了個關子，只說「我們會有顛覆傳統的方式，請大家期待」。
 
魏應交強調，台灣之星200億元的資本額，足以因應在4G資本支出及營運支出的需求，且台灣之星希望結合股東力量，找到顛覆世界的方法。（劉煥彥／彰化報導）
