【綜合報導】美國俄亥俄州一名婦人在商店行竊，被逮個正著，警員問話時無故毆打她，幾乎打到全盲。她考慮控告該名仍然在役的警察濫用暴力。

事發於今年2月，蕾德爾（Brandie Redell）逛街時企圖偷一件女裝，卻被當場擒獲。警員克羅（Scott Crow）在警局對蕾德爾問話時，無名火起，衝向蕾德爾對她的頭打了幾拳，另一名警員則壓著她的腳。這場「私刑」持續1分鐘，蕾德爾被打腫了右眼，失去7成視力。
