邁阿密熱火球星「小皇帝」LeBron James是家鄉人氣最高，同時收入也令人望塵莫及的居民，雖然他的聲勢如日中天，不過他仍不忘飲水思源。

根據《Akron Beacon Journal》報導，美國時間週四早晨，James來到位於俄亥俄州亞克朗市的法院裡履行他的陪審義務，但他並沒有坐在陪審團旁邊進行審問，而是當一個安靜的監督者，最後於早上十點半離開。

James上傳了一張照片到推特上，是他即將出門前的自拍照，文字敘述寫道：「該是我盡市民義務的時候了」。另外他也帶了一本書，為的是屆時若等待時間過於漫長，可以藉此打發時間。

他近幾個星期都在家鄉奉獻一己之力，此前曾到菲律賓及中國進行行銷宣傳活動。

本週末LeBron James將展現親和力，親自主持數個慈善活動。
