《聯合報》報導，台北市有應召站宣稱旗下有處女，卻是讓小姐在下體塞血球騙嫖客，一名17歲女高中生臨時應召來不及準備血球，陳姓馬夫接到應召站指示，就先到西藥房買紅藥水，囑咐女學生找機會「把它滴在馬桶上」，還提醒她藥水滴在衛生紙會變橘紅色。事後被警查獲，女學生被少年法庭裁定訓誡及假日生活輔導。

【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】加拿大魁北克省7月才發生無人駕駛的運油列車出軌引發大火意外，造成47人喪生，周六凌晨亞伯達省艾德蒙頓市又有加拿大國鐵運油列車出軌，引發烈焰衝天。意外所在小鎮的100名居民緊急疏散，消防隊員也暫時撤離，以避免人員傷亡。 

列車13節車廂中有4節載運原油、9節載運液化天然氣，其中3節車廂已因外洩起火，消防人員表示，企圖滅火可能危及性命，只能等待外洩的石油或天然氣燃盡。

這起意外再次引發加國輿論關注運油列車的安全。由於美國蒙大拿州、北達科塔州、加國薩克其萬省與曼尼托巴省一帶的油田開採，近年美加一帶運油列車數量大增，綠色和平組織抨擊，若政府不訂定更緊密的安全規範，這類列車出軌意外將成「新的常態」。

【林海全╱台中報導】台中一名呂姓男子〈37歲〉，上週三晚間騎機車到烏日一間賣場，進入店內後，突然昏倒，店員馬上通報救護車將呂男送醫，為了確認身份，店員協助救護人員打開呂男機車置物箱，赫然發現一支具有殺傷力的空氣槍，馬上報警將槍枝帶回鑑定。
 
呂男清醒向警方表示，平常擔任臨時工，已經有兩天沒吃東西，想到賣場買東西，因胃不舒服突然昏倒。他向警方宣稱，在跳蚤市場花800元買空氣槍，想要用來打獵，「我有拿去太平山區打獵過，真的沒有其他用途。」訊後，依違反槍砲彈藥刀械管制條例函送法辦。

彰化大統長基食品疑製造「調和油」欺騙消費者，業者卻振振有詞辯稱是管線遭汙染所致，彰化縣衛生局長葉彥伯痛批「太扯了！不可能！」檢方哈哈大笑不回應。

彰化大統有五十多種產品都是調和油，卻聲稱是純度百分百的橄欖油等油品；有的油品如花生油，連花生成分都沒有，而是添加香精調製。葉彥伯表示，有些油品甚至用三種油脂混合，「讓人眼花撩亂」。

「怎麼可能是汙染混到」，葉彥伯表示，大統生產的特級橄欖油，裡面完全沒有橄欖油，而是由沙拉油、葵花油、棉籽油再加色素銅葉綠素混成，再刻意調配脂肪酸比率接近橄欖油，「太扯了！」

「這根本是胖達人事件翻版。」林口長庚醫院腎臟科主治醫師顏宗海直言；台大醫院腎臟科主治醫師姜至剛也說，「這次事件嗅到胖達人的味道。」

彰化地區麻油業者表示，純花生油零點六公斤要一百八十元，大統花生風味特香調理油兩公升賣一百九十六元，「用膝蓋想」都知道有問題。

衛生福利部食品藥物管理署食品組組長蔡淑貞表示，這次事件是民眾在八月透過部長信箱檢舉，轉由彰化縣衛生局抽驗發現有異，才由檢調介入調查；她說，「這不是食品安全問題，是對與錯的問題。」

有機農業專家陳世雄也說，根本不可能是「不小心混到」，真正的橄欖油有橄欖的原色和果香，也含有豐富的維他命和不飽和脂肪酸，但廠商竟添加銅葉綠素染色，實在很沒良心。

銅葉綠素含有銅離子，葉彥伯說，銅葉綠素只能加在口香糖、泡泡糖裡，因我們不會每天都吃口香糖，但依規定不能加在食用油內，若加在每天食用的油品，長期累積體內就會對肝、腎造成傷害。

弘光科技大學食品科技系副教授柯耀筆說，一般食用油製程分壓榨、萃取及提煉，橄欖油是用攝氏廿五度冷壓榨方式製成；業者製造調和油再用銅葉綠素上色，以假亂真。

陳世雄等專家表示，混充的橄欖油只要把顏色、聞起來的味道與純橄欖油做得一樣，消費者靠肉眼、味道根本無法分辨真假。他們一致呼籲，政府除了加強食品查緝抽驗，加重罰則，杜絕不法。

【大陸中心╱綜合外電報導】香港民間團體20日發起「我要公仔箱，不要黑箱作業」大遊行，演藝界、學生和網民總動員上街，數百港視職藝員集會要求政府交代死因，部份擬通宵留守。

《蘋果》報導，兄弟飯店洪家五兄弟於1984年創立兄弟棒球隊，洪家老大洪騰勝更一手催生中華職棒聯盟於1989年成立；24年來，兄弟奪得7次總冠軍和11次季冠軍，是中職最受歡迎、票房最好的勁旅，但除2004年球季外，平均每年虧損4到5千萬元，2009年爆發「黑象事件」，更重創洪家對繼續經營職棒的信心。

球團董事長洪瑞河昨宣布讓售，他說：「在邁向創隊30年的前一年宣布球隊走入歷史，是最沉痛的決定。」他希望更有能力的企業接手，若無法在年底前找到買家，象隊會繼續運作一年。
