在去年台北市通過北廠開發案後，臺北機廠文史守護聯盟亦利用鐵道文化節期間入廠舉辦約30場的「真相導覽」，帶動千餘人次的民眾認識北廠的保存危機，年底大選期間並與松菸護樹共同推動市長、市議員候選人連署承諾保存北廠，讓柯市府上台後得以維持其選前承諾：「臺北機廠應全區保留」做長遠規劃，並在管碧玲委員居中協調下，促成柯市府三巨頭同意朝全區保留指定國定古蹟為方向前進...（閱讀全文）
