比太陽系還老　天文學家發現最古老星系

天文學家發現最古老的行星系，這5顆類似地球的行星體積不大，年紀約有112億年。

《洛杉磯時報》報導，該研究由國際天文研究員共同發現，其中耶魯大學研究員巴蘇（Sarbani Basu）表示，如果這些行星適合居住，宇宙生命起源可追溯到更早。這些行星圍繞的古老的恆星，被名為「克卜勒-444」（Kepler-444），是太陽體積的75%，距離地球117光年。

圍繞克卜勒-444的星系軌道距離，比地球繞太陽距離更短，約是水星與金星圍繞太陽的距離，約10天可完成一次公轉。而該行星系形成的時間比起太陽系還要早70億年，為目前已知最古老行星系。本研究發表於《天文物理學期刊》(The Astrophysical Journal，ApJ)。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
