我國人類發展指數/性別不平等指數分別排名全球第21及第5名

我國HDI、GII分別排名全球第21名及第5名

一、根據聯合國開發計畫署（UNDP）2014年7月底公布之人類發展報告，用以衡量一國健康、教育及經濟3領域綜合發展成果之人類發展指數（Human Development Index,HDI）編算方法略有變更，其中教育指數算法由幾何平均改為簡單平均，並溯及1980、1990、2000、’05、’08、’10~’12等年；另由生殖健康、賦權及勞動市場3領域衡量性別不帄等導致發展損失之性別不平等指數（GenderInequalityIndex,GII）中，原指標15-64歲勞動力參與率改為15歲以上勞動力參與率。

二、依聯合國編算方法，將我國4項指標資料代入計算後，2013年我國HDI為0.882（值越接近1越佳），在188個國家中排名第21名，較新版2012年之第25名，進步4名；全球HDI排名以挪威0.944居冠，其後為澳洲0.933及瑞士0.917，新加坡居第9名，南韓及日本分居第15及17名。

三、依我國5項指標資料自行計算之2013年GII為0.055（值越接近0越佳），由於部分歐洲國家高齡就業較為普遍，新編統計結果推升其排名，亦使我國由2012年原編之第2名落居第5。2013年GII全球排名以斯洛維尼亞0.021居第1，瑞士0.030居次，新加坡居第16名，南韓及日本則分別排名第18及26名。(資料來源：主計處)
