聯發科（2454）與Opera軟體公司宣布合作，將Android平台專用的全面節省行動數據應用程式Opera Max，內建於聯發科旗下64位元4G LTE系統單晶片解決方案MT6752及MT6732中，將可讓原有的行動數據方案額度增加高達 50%，全面提升智慧機的使用經驗。
 
Opera Max 採用 Opera 數據壓縮技術，將智慧機App與瀏覽器上影片、照片、以及文字等數據，壓縮高達50%，為用戶在原有的資費方案中，增加額外的行動數據使用額度，也可讓影片開啟速度變快，減少緩衝時間與次數。
 
此外，消費者也可透過 Opera Max簡易的操作介面，監控與管理App的數據使用情況，更可在用戶出國時作特別提醒，所使用的數據由漫遊業者提供，方便讓使用者變更連網使用的設定，避免支付超額的漫遊費用。（陳俐妏／台北報導）
