金鶯老將達蒙楊(Delmon Young)首局開轟，敲出2分砲，加上新秀投手高斯曼(Kevin Gausman)先發6局只被擊出5安、失1分，老將、新季聯手，不但擊退美聯東區第1的藍鳥，也讓原本想挑戰第11勝，獨坐大聯盟勝投王大位的柏利(Mark Buehrle)吞敗，只能和田中將大繼續並列。
 
金鶯馬卡奇斯(Nick Markakis)今2安、1打點，首局他率先從柏利手中擊出安打， 接著2棒指定打擊達蒙楊敲出全壘打，金鶯終場4比2獲勝，與藍鳥的勝差縮小到3.5場。
 
金鶯投手高斯曼，上一場對運動家7局只失1分，今投6局也僅失1分，拿下2連勝，也以連續優質先發的內容，證明他2012年首輪選秀就獲青睞的身手。反觀藍鳥王牌左投柏利，在6.1局的投球被擊出8支安打，失掉4分，在勝場數被田中將大追上後，無力再更上層樓，結束先前6連勝後最近吞下2連敗。(鍾裕能／綜合報導)
