不少人搭公車，常為得在站牌前查看路線傷透腦筋，台中市交通局最近在新光三越及中友百貨前示範設立LCD式智慧型站牌，不僅在大太陽下找資訊不會有看板反光的問題，一次能顯示8條路線資訊，民眾透過觸控螢幕，還可查詢公車票價。不少民眾乍看覺得很新奇，還以為公車站多了台小電視。

台中市交通局長林良泰表示，今年將再增加150座智慧型站牌，並規劃在火車站及主要公共場所安裝室內智慧型看板，提供公車到站資訊，讓民眾搭車更方便。(鄭敏玲／台中報導)
