​前籃網老闆 飛機失事逝世

根據ESPN報導，前籃網老闆凱茲(Lewis Katz)，美國時間週六晚間與另外6名乘客，從波士頓搭乘飛機起飛後發生意外全部罹難，凱茲享年72歲，在他擁有球隊期間，也是籃網隊史最顛峰的時代，包括2002、2003年籃網都有打進總冠軍賽，可惜分別輸給湖人與馬刺。
 
凱茲在1998年買下籃網，不過他在2004年就把球隊出售，而凱茲在發生意外後，NBA聯盟也發表一份聲明，總裁席佛(Adam Silver)指出：「路易斯(凱茲是一名值得信任的朋友，也是NBA大家庭的成員，他是有遠見的生意人，透過他的企業與創新態度，影響了很多人的生活。)（龍柏安／綜合報導）
