台北市立圖書館今年元旦時遭鄭姓男子偷走兩份報紙，台北地方法院日前裁決，鄭男被處拘役15日，或易科罰金新台幣1萬5000元。

北市圖表示，鄭姓男子在今年元旦時，利用國定假日圖書館放假、且清晨行人較少時，竊取東園分館戶外書報箱內的兩份報紙，分別為「聯合報」及「大紀元」各1份，鄭男得手後隨即離去。

東園分館說，鄭男偷報紙當天戴著帽子和口罩，雖然監視器有拍到影像，但無法確認鄭男容貌。不過鄭男半個月後再度到東園分館看報紙時，被館員發現服裝和行竊當天一模一樣，在鄭男離館前攔阻並報警依法偵辦。

由於鄭男之前已有竊盜遭法院判刑的不良紀錄，經台北地方法院審理後，認為鄭男竟仍因貪圖小利，偷取價值僅新台幣20元的報紙，為使其記取教訓、避免再犯，處以拘役15日，或易科罰金1萬5000元。

北市圖提醒民眾，圖書、報紙、雜誌、視聽資料均屬公物，未經正常借閱手續即私自攜出圖書館，涉及刑法竊盜罪，民眾切勿以身試法。(中央社)
