諾貝爾物理獎　「上帝粒子」勝出

【劉邠如／綜合外電報導】2013年諾貝爾物理獎揭曉，得獎的果然是物理學家花了近半世紀苦苦追尋的「上帝粒子」希格斯粒子（Higgs boson）。

希格斯粒子是以提出這個理論的，英國物理學家希格斯名字命名，科學家認為，宇宙由62種基本粒子組成。但過去發現的61種粒子，都無法解釋粒子質量從何而來，科學家相信，尚未被發現的第62種粒子「上帝粒子」就是物質質量的來源。

科學家利用複雜的實驗儀器，大強子對撞機，在一條27公里的圓環形隧道內，讓2組方向相反的質子，在隧道內以接近光速的速度移動，並猛烈相撞，重建137億年前，宇宙誕生時的「大霹靂」情況。最後終於找到上帝粒子。
