無黨籍籍台北市長參選人柯文哲向對手連勝文提出政策辯論要求，對此，連勝文競選總部總幹事蔡正元今(11日)表示，「我們早就有充分的準備，隨時應戰。」蔡正元並表示對連勝文「他的教養，他的謙虛，他的誠懇有高度的信賴」、「絕對有贏的勝算把握」。

媒體質疑連勝文是否「辯才無礙」？對此蔡正元表示，「連勝文口才之好啊，你們都不曉得，他私底下很俏皮、很幽默，我都講不過他的，你們不要看外表，人家說惦惦吃三碗公半」......。(文/唐詩)(全文未完，請連結民報)
