【吳秀樺／台北報導】隨著智慧型手機與平板電腦的普及，開啟了智慧移（Smart Mobile）時代。Windows 8的上市，筆記型電腦與AIO PC上採用觸控功能產品未來會逐漸增加，由於大面積產品開始導入觸控面板，不僅支撐OCA與OCR光學膠市場規模快速成長，也使得觸控面板市場持續維持大幅度的成長。
 
由於平板電腦領域因貼合產能不足，與貼合良率偏低導致費用偏高，但使用OCA或OCR來填充觸控面板與顯示面板之間的空氣層，可提升在戶內外的可視性與顯示性能，因此在高階產品採用全貼合的產品與比重會持續增加。
 
雖然目前OCR與OCA市場的過度競爭導致價格快速下跌仍需注意，恐成為市場持續成長的絆腳石，2012年OCA與OCR光學膠的市場規模達7億7100萬美元，並在2014年預估會突破9億美元。
