校徽太像陽具　女校長花320萬重設計

【綜合報導】美國紐約市立大學布魯克林學院(Brooklyn College)有座從1930年代就建立的古老塔樓，校方更以這座塔樓為設計概念，打造校徽，但該校的女性校長蓋爾德(Karen Gould)卻認為，這個校徽太像男性的陽具，因此下令撤除並重新設計校徽。

據了解，蓋爾德在2009年起擔任該校校長，為了重新設計校徽，這次校方花了10.7萬美元(約新台幣320萬元)重新設計。據了解，這款「陽具」舊校徽在10多年前由校內的設計科系教職員所做，而這次新校徽不再出現圖示，以「純文字」方式呈現。
