【林金聖攝／台北報導】整合竹聯幫15堂口成立竹聯幫聯誼社、自任社長的竹聯幫平堂前堂主孟維強，藉由經營酒店、暴力圍標工程等不法方式謀取暴利，警方昨晚將孟維強及幫眾等6人逮捕歸案，依恐嚇取財、妨害自由及傷害等罪移送法辦。

警方表示，2005年趙姓台商替竹聯幫投資失利，損失350萬，去年底孟維強率幫眾強押趙姓台商到忠孝東路4段竹聯幫圍事之酒店堂口，以灌酒、酒瓶折手指、檳榔刀剪手指等恐嚇方式，凌虐被害人長達5小時，經趙妻籌得60萬元，趙姓台商始得脫身。
