【綜合報導】美國MMA鐵路公司（Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Ltd）7日在美國緬因州法院登記破產，公司對外表示，在上個月六日發生運油列車爆炸後，生意一落千丈，不得已只好申請破產保護。
 
7月6日，一列無人駕駛滿載原油的MMA貨運列車，全速駛進加拿大魁北克的美干提湖鎮（Lac-Megantic），列車出軌爆炸並導致4節車廂原油外洩，造成47人死亡。估計MMA鐵路公司的資產總額最多約30億元台幣。
