【張博亭／台北報導】康健雜誌調查5大連鎖麵包店，發現吐司含鈉量超高，像聖瑪莉的吐司，只要吃2片就攝取了716毫克的鈉，接近每餐800毫克的上限，長期攝取大量的納，易致血壓上升。另外，調查也發現聖瑪莉的甜甜圈，含鋁量高達138.3mg/kg，順成蛋糕的司康也驗出31.6mg/kg的鋁殘留，過量攝取鋁會傷害神經系統，導致失智症。

這5大連鎖麵包店包括幾分甜、山崎麵包、順成蛋糕、聖瑪莉、米哥烘焙坊，康健雜誌抽樣共20項樣品，送檢驗公司檢驗，證實了大部分麵包都是「高油食物」。根據此檢視麵包檢測結果，所有麵包的飽和脂肪比例都高於1/3，有些甚至高達6成多，顯示油脂攝取太不均衡，長久下來會造成人體的總膽固醇和低密度膽固醇偏高。

【綜合報導】美國政府自昨日起停擺，有70%公務系統和職員被迫放無薪假，而美國媒體就指出，食品安全可能因此無人把關。

據美國《哈芬登郵報》報導，美國農業部有一項食品安全檢驗計畫，從2011年開始，該部門會對全美各家食品企業進行檢查。光是在2011年，就檢查了2萬家，平均每日該部門也會檢查到80家的食品機構。

但現在美國緊急預算案未通過，政府關門應變，連帶這筆食安檢驗經費來源也被凍結，因此美國人也開始擔憂食安問題的發生。
