新竹縣今天的天氣不錯，竹東鎮體育會結合全鎮53個體育社團，舉行千人健走活動，民眾在暖暖冬陽下前進，氣氛熱烈。

新竹縣長邱鏡淳、縣議員吳勝松、盧東文、羅吉祥等人也出席在河濱公園舉行的活動，向民眾問好。

明新科技大學在現場為民眾進行「坐姿體前彎」、「3分鐘登階測驗」、「身高、體重、腰圍、臀圍計量」、「1分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐」等測驗。

主辦單位表示，健走路程共6公里，會後舉辦摸彩，讓大家過個快樂的星期假日。

竹東鎮體育會理事長吳勝松說，平日各社團都會自行舉辦運動比賽，此次來個大整合，在有限的經費下，原本限定850人報名，但有許多民眾全家動員，使得參與的人數多達千餘人。

彰化縣大村國小六年級學生吳珮均沒有父親，母親傷殘以家庭代工維生，吳珮均將故事寫成「缺角的拼圖」獲得兒童文學獎金獎。

吳珮均母親因車禍失去一條腿及工作，以家庭代工維持生計，每袋5000個加工品工資新台幣400元，平均一週可做1萬個，週收入僅800元。2個姐姐因經濟因素，紛紛休學離家找工作，減輕家中負擔。

「缺角的拼圖」是吳珮均的生命故事，母親曾計劃將珮均出養，以減輕生活負擔，但最後選擇將孩子留在身邊。母親曾將珮均托育給保母，不料，保母常把珮均關在黑暗小房間並打罵，讓珮均在人際關係上產生不安全感，影響在校表現。

吳珮均雖然沒有錢學畫畫或才藝，但在老師鼓勵之下參加寫生、作文、漫畫與廣播劇比賽，都有好成績，更獲得由羅慧夫顱顏基金會主辦的第16屆「用愛彌補」兒童文學獎，並獲得金獎，期許自己能成為下一個幾米。

【曾佳俊／台北報導】國內50萬名新住民想要學電腦，現在有了祕密武器，而且全程免費！移民署今天上午於228和平紀念公園內，舉辦嘉年華園遊會，2部七彩繽紛的小貨車更引起民眾好奇圍觀，這原來是讓人學電腦的「行動小胖卡」，由今年剛榮獲十大傑出女青年的新住民姐妹林麗蟬代言，胖卡只要打開貨艙及後車廂門，隨即變成一個教學講台，還能提供桌椅、帳棚以及完善的電腦設備，同時有無線網路基地台，只要有適當場所、5人以上即可上課，未來將跑遍全台22縣市及偏鄉地區，3年預計培訓2萬人次，學會上網找工作、通訊及文書處理，免費提供機動性的行動教室供新住民、配偶及其子女學習。

【羅雨函／綜合報導】韓國新生代男星李鍾碩為了拍攝電影《屏息》吃足苦頭，他在片中扮演游泳選手，然而現實生活中的他，卻是個「旱鴨子」，他表示：「一開始，我連浮在水面上都辦不到，只好每天結束工作後，利用晚上11點到凌晨1點去練習游泳。」
 
李鍾碩努力練習的成果，讓從原本不會游泳的他變成水中蛟龍，就連指導教練也對他誇讚不已，說如果他從小就學游泳的話，現在的成就應該早就超越游泳國手了。此外，李鍾碩在片中常常需要裸露上身，他透露常常忍住食欲，只吃香蕉、雞胸肉、紅薯和高蛋白飲料，搭配體能訓練，才練就出精壯的身材。《屏息》13日在台上映。
