杜蘭特（Kevin Durant）未復出，雷霆再拆損伊巴卡（Serge Ibaka），據ESPN報導，伊巴卡接受關節鏡手術，將休戰4-6周。

「塞爾吉（伊巴卡）對我們來說無比重要，我們希望他能夠盡可能的出現在球場，」雷霆經理普萊斯蒂（Sam Presti）說：「但據當下的情況，如果我們繼續讓他出戰，傷情將繼續加重，（手術）目前是必要的一步。」

二月底，伊巴卡膝蓋出現痛感，雷霆醫療組進行診療。當時，經過MRI檢測之後，伊巴卡的膝蓋並無結構、或者應力之類會在長期造成影響的問題。

普萊斯蒂說：「他膝蓋的那些磨損狀況並不常見，那些確實是簡單的膝蓋磨碎，一般來說，這類傷病通常都在休賽期治療。但伊巴卡的膝蓋則出現腫脹。於是，我們不得不讓他動手術。」

伊巴卡自2月1日以來，平均得14.9分、8.2籃板以及3.2次阻攻。

雷霆戰績37勝30負，目前正在與鵜鶘競爭西區第八。

伊巴卡的缺陣時間將在4-6周，如果一切順利，他將能夠趕上雷霆的季後賽第一輪，如果最晚時間復出的話，雷霆可能就此賽季結束。
