媒體應高度自律，確保事件當事人安全。雖然在本次事件中「無線衛星廣播電視公會」隨即啟動自律機制，然而仍有部分電子媒體企圖以空拍方式取得畫面，此項作法對此我們表達強烈譴責。我們認為此項作為不但無助新聞資訊流通，更刺激到嫌犯心理狀態，也對人質安全造成危害，同時，過度揭示事件現場資訊，除了暴露警力佈署與事件地點相關資訊，更使人質救援產生困難，而此無非是白曉燕案當時的翻版...（閱讀全文）
