台中市長當選人林佳龍25日就職，林佳龍辦公室今天說，當天就職典禮懇辭一切花禮，想送花者可把經費改捐助弱勢團體。

台中市第2屆市長宣誓就職典禮將於25日上午8時於新市政中心4樓集會堂舉行，近日林佳龍辦公室接獲大量支持者電話，紛紛表達想寄送就職典禮祝賀花禮的意願，並詢問寄送地址及典禮時間。

林佳龍表示，感謝支持者的好意，但他已多次宣示，要當「市民的市長」及打造「行動的市府」，市民對他及新市府的期待應該反映在解決市政上，實在不應該因為就職典禮浪費社會資源。

林佳龍指出，年關將屆，許多弱勢族群因經濟因素，無法過個好年，因此，新市府懇辭就職典禮一切花禮，建議原本有意送花或禮的支持者，能將經費轉而捐助給弱勢團隊或有需要幫助的人，讓民間資源轉化為寒冬送暖的大愛。(中央社)
