路透報導引述現場目擊者指出，聽到爆炸聲和槍聲，逃脫的銀行員工則稱，當時銀行內人很多，非常忙碌。有許多公務員當時正在銀行，領取薪水。

報導引述警方發言人指，共有4名神學士武裝份子涉案，其中一人引爆炸彈，另3人則與保全扭打。銀行內究竟有多少人目前並不清楚。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
